Village Adoption Outreach
Village Adoption
Village Adoption Outreach is a unique stewardship opportunity with the potential for building even deeper relationships within a village. This program identifies specific needs within a community and connects U.S. church partners, organizations, families, and individuals interested in serving a village beyond their mission team experience.
The needs of each village vary drastically. Therefore, each Village Adoption project/commitment is going to look different. For some, it may be a 5-10-year commitment, including financially supporting the ongoing ministry outreach projects already implemented and engaging a mission team in the same community annually. For others, it may look like funding a church construction project, purchasing ministry supplies, building a playground, digging a well, or countless other community development initiatives.
Embracing a village and meeting the tangible needs of the people as a part of their own organization or family, not simply an outreach, is key to each adoption. Relationships take effort and sacrifice, but the resources and time invested will make a lasting impact on the lives of those you serve.

Villages Awaiting Adoption by a U.S. Organization

The Village of Los Lotes
The Village of Los Lotes
Unique facts about this village
They are babes in Christ but with much hunger as well. Many have lived in/experienced “the world,” and thus, sin and generational sin abounded. We are gaining traction in Los Lotes, but the enemy is very active as well. There is much work to do in Los Lotes, but they are very open to the truth that sets them free!
The Village of La Bendicion
Unique facts about this village
La Bendicion is a primarily “Christian” village. That said, some have slipped back into legalism (prevalent throughout Latin America due to their religious roots). Unless it has recently changed, the village does not allow alcohol sales there, and limits Sunday activities, etc. They are prime for another influx of the Gospel, with much teaching/living out what a relationship with Christ means, rather than keeping of rules and regulations. We believe they can become a “sending” village for many years to come.

The Village of Cambalcol
The Village of Cambalcol
Unique facts about this village
Cambalcol is steeped in religion, so very law-based (generations back). They are very open to the Gospel when presented in Christ’s love. Discipleship and home visits are the best way to build a church in this village and are already underway. In early 2020, the majority of young men left for the U.S. to find work. This will affect the entire village in the years ahead as many families will come out of poverty (financially) but likely fall into greater poverty spiritually unless we urgently reach them with the true Gospel.

The Village of La Reyna
The Village of La Reyna
Testimony about this village
“We are excited to continue our relationship with La Reyna through PBM’s Village Adoption Program. We embrace La Reyna as part of the Hager Park Church family and look forward to growing together spiritually with them… God has called us to ‘Go, and make disciples of all nations….’ Matthew 28:19. Through PBM, we are eagerly responding to that call and to GO minister alongside His precious people in La Reyna!”
