Village Wellness
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
You Make a Difference!
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
— Matthew 10:42
Throughout Jesus’ time on this earth, He was constantly concerned with the well-being of those He encountered, often taking His precious time to fill their immediate needs. Whether that be healing, grieving, or even their empty stomachs.
Each of PBM’s Wellness outreaches are designed to follow His perfect example of love and compassion. They are incredible, effective tools that are transforming hearts and changing lives for eternity!
Daily Bread
PBM’s Daily Bread Outreach delivers much-needed food and medical care to remote villages and provides our staff a beautiful opportunity to share the Gospel.
Since the first Daily Bread Outreach in August of 2020, our incredible team of Guatemalan Missionaries have continued these visits across Guatemala. Their goal is simply to share their love for Jesus with those who need Him the most!
Clean Water
Everyone should have access to safe, clean drinking water. Often, water sources in Guatemala are poor and contaminated, leading to a variety of health problems, including parasites and diarrhea.
To combat water contamination, Paradise Bound utilizes bucket water filters. Families gifted with these filters have experienced an improvement in their overall health and wellness.
Medical Clinics
PBM’s Medical Clinics/Village Outreach serve remote villages throughout Guatemala by bringing medical care within reach.
56% of the population of Guatemala lives below the poverty line and has limited access to quality nutrition, hygiene education, basic medical care, and medication. Parasites, diabetes, and malnutrition are common but serious threats to their health; all are treatable illnesses.
PBM’s medical team attends to each patient they serve and distributes necessary medication, vitamins, and eyeglasses. Patients in need of care beyond what our team can provide, will be referred to another medical facility for treatment.
Agriculture Outreach
PBM’s Agriculture Outreach began as a pilot program in the village of San Ramon. This program aimed to teach farmers in the village new farming techniques to improve their productivity and diversify their crops.
These new agriculture practices result in more reliable food sources, generate sustainable income, and protect their valuable natural resources.
