YOU make a Difference!
“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”
Throughout Jesus’ time on this earth, He was constantly concerned with the well-being of those He encountered, often taking His precious time to fill their immediate needs. Whether that be healing, grieving, or even their empty stomachs.
Each of PBM’s Wellness outreaches are designed to follow His perfect example of love and compassion. They are incredible, effective tools that are transforming hearts and changing lives for eternity!
Daily Bread Outreach
PBM’s Daily Bread Outreach was born out of a need to provide much needed and medical care to remote villages devastated by the covid-19 pandemic. Since the first outreach in August of 2020, our incredible team of Guatemalan Missionaries has been making weekly visits to villages across Guatemala. They are distributing necessary food, supplies, and medicine. But most importantly… they are bringing hope and the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Clean Water Outreach
Everyone should have access to safe, clean drinking water. Most often water sources in Guatemala are poor and contaminated leading to a variety of health problems including parasites and diarrhea. Or due to the dry conditions the nearby water source is simply inadequate to provide for the nearby villages.
To combat water contamination, Paradise Bound utilizes both bucket water filters for individual families in need, and larger, village wide water filtration systems that can provide clean water to an entire village.
Water supply issues require an investigation to determine the best course of action to alleviate the problem and source the water that a village desperately needs.
PBM’s Medical Clinics/Village Outreach serve remote villages throughout Guatemala by bringing medical care within reach. With 56% of the population of Guatemala living below the poverty line there are tens of thousands of people who lack access to quality nutrition, health education, basic medical care, and medication. Parasites, diabetes, and malnutrition are the most common threats to their health…all of which are treatable illnesses.
PBM’s medical team lovingly attends to each patient they serve and provides them with medicine, vitamins, and eyeglasses. If a patient is in need of care beyond what our team can provide, PBM will refer them to another medical facility for treatment and assist with transportation if necessary.
“…the seeds that fell on the fertile soil brought forth harvests of a hundredfold, sixtyfold, and thirtyfold! Jesus’ words in Matthew 13:8
PBM’s Agriculture Outreach is teaching farmers in remote villages new farming techniques that will improve productivity and increase the variety of their crops. These new agriculture practices result in a more reliable food source, generate sustainable income, and protect their valuable natural resources.
