2025 Mission Team Application Information
Paradise Bound Mission Team (up to 40 participants)
Our staff begins preparing months in advance to plan village outreach opportunities that will meet the real, tangible needs of the people in the villages we serve. These work projects may include home construction and medical clinics as described below. Or your team may bless a widow by repairing a dilapidated home, build a community playground, possibly serve at a local preschool, plant trees, or distribute food. Whatever your team’s outreaches look like, you can be confident that God will use your group to build relationships and point people to Jesus!
Mission Trip Cost Summary
Average Participant Cost: $2,500-$2,700
· PBM Mission Team Experience Fee: $1075/person

Home Construction
$2,000 per home (most teams build 5 homes)
Our home construction projects are designed so you and your team can build a home, from start to finish, for an impoverished family in just two days. The per home investment (see below) is our cost for materials only, with no markup or profit. It includes the home, a bed, a lifetime water filter, and most importantly, the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Mobile Medical Clinics
$3,000 (total cost for 2 clinics)
Our trained medical staff will equip the team with everything needed to assist within the clinics. The team will distribute food, antibiotics, multivitamins, pain relievers, parasite pills, and more. The love shared with the villagers during a clinic builds a level of trust, provides us the opportunity to minister to them, and introduce them to Jesus through VBS activities and a Gospel presentation.
Open Doors Orphanage
Open Doors has been a shelter for vulnerable children since 2011 and is located right at our mission base. You and your team will have an opportunity to visit and interact with the beautiful children that God has entrusted into our care.
How to Apply
Consider a team date from the dates listed above and complete the online application (link below). If there are more requests than available dates, we will pray over the requests, discern God’s will, and biblically draw lots if needed. Then, after May 31, we will inform all applicants of the teams/dates that have been awarded.
If your group is awarded a mission date you will be notified by email. Your non-refundable deposit is required within 10 days of the notification. If your deposit is not received within 10 days, your ministry date may be awarded to another waiting team. Do not send in a deposit until notified that you have been awarded a mission date. If your church or group desires a full team of 25+ team members, the deposit is $3,000. If 10-25 spots are desired, the deposit is $2,000.
Paradise Bound Ministries Mission Experience Policies
Submitting an application does not guarantee a 2025 mission date. Travel dates are subject to change until airline tickets are secured.
Participant Age Requirements
Participants must be 12 years old at the time of travel.
Airline Reservations
PBM staff coordinates and manages all team airline reservations. If you have team member(s) who need a deviation from the groups itinerary, we are happy to assist with this, but ask that team participants not book their own flights.
Extra-Curricular Activity Policy
Paradise Bound Ministries prioritizes the safety and security of the teams that come to serve with us in Guatemala and cannot accommodate requests from team participants to engage in activities outside of the PBM Mission Team scheduled programming.
This includes:
· Visiting acquaintances within the Guatemala that are not participating in our program
· Visiting a sponsored child within the country
· Inviting acquaintances to visit our mission base or participate in the team’s activities/outreaches.
*We ask that team members refrain from making requests of this nature to our staff during your stay in Guatemala.
