Praise God for His Mercy and Love! God is continuing to open doors throughout Guatemala that allow us to place Action Bibles directly into the hands of thousands of children.
When an Action Bible is placed in the hands of a child, we are placing God's Holy Word on good soil — planting a seed of faith that will surely grow and produce fruit, making an Eternal difference in their lives and the lives of those around them as they share what Jesus has done for them.
Our Winter 2020 Mission Season is flying by. The first three teams have constructed 15 homes, and participated in 6 medical outreaches, which have led to a massive harvest of souls! Hundreds of new believers have been welcomed as brothers and sisters in Christ because these fearless team members have stepped out of their comfort zone and entered into Eternal relationships with those they came to serve.
Welcome Team Fellowship/Woodhaven! Please Pray this precious team of 31 through customs and their long journey over extremely rough roads to the remote village of Los Lotes. There the team will complete the construction of the final five homes in this community.
Hey guys! Our 21 days of Prayer and fasting was completed on Jan 29. What an amazing time we had! We essentially gave a tithe of our time in 2020. The things that God did during that time will be surpassed by the end of the year. I know we’ll be feeling the effects for a while.
We touched down at 1:00 pm safely in Guatemala City, after a 3-hour drive we arrived in Los Lotes around 5:15. We were welcomed by the people with open arms and we immediately felt the warm atmosphere in the village. Right away, some of us started a soccer game with the locals. After the game, we ate and had our nightly devotions on the patio of the building where we slept.
Team Hudsonville Reformed arrives Sunday, January 26th. Please join us and lift them up in Prayer as they enter a week of building not only homes, but Eternal relationships within the village of Los Lotes, and 2 other remote villages for medical clinic outreaches. Pray that they encounter our Lord in a new way as they actively share the love and grace of our Savior Jesus Christ!
Happy New Year! 2020 is going to be a year of challenges and exciting opportunities. God is continuing to open doors within public schools, even with new government advised regulations on our visits.
We began this year, attending to the needs of teachers who have been asking for help teaching morals and values to their young students. They are very aware that many children are experiencing hardships and require guidance to set them on the right path for the future.
This is the team that will be in Guatemala from January 12-19. Please be praying for each of these team members: Bill DeBoer Mike McKendrick Earl Scholl Corinne Vander Well Carrie Beyer Emily Scheidel Mark Karelse Colin Boughner Amy Bastian Curtis Potter Kristin DeKock Carroll Burgess Isaac Wilde Kurt DeKock Mohamad Farran Todd Bos Norma […]
John 15:1-2: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” It is evident in this verse that both the Son and the Father share an […]
John 15:8 states that “By this, my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” According to this verse, what is it that proves we are genuinely “abiding” or have a broken connection with the vine? What evidence can you point to that confirms “fruit” in your life? […]
John Piper further notes that “Jesus gets very specific about what is flowing between the vine and the branch. He mentions words — His words — His love, and His joy. John 15:7 says, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for […]
