Team Member Testimonies

In February, I had the privilege of traveling with the Fearless Family’s first official team to Guatemala.  I hoped to learn more about PBM’s ministry and expand my world view.  The PBM team functions like a well-oiled machine, intentionally fostering the trip participants’ spiritual development and the beautiful people we served in the villages […]

Olga’s backstory

What takes us now only 15 minutes of travel from the village before La Bendicion took us three hours of pure adventure that first visit. As we struggled through the mud, blown tires, and jungle heat, we heard shrill ever-nearing shouts and then saw where they were coming from. One of the village leaders was […]

The Source of Life

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”2 Timothy 3:16-17    In this country, we have unlimited access to Bibles and other Christian literature, and I don’t know about you, but at times I […]

Hey Everyone!    It is with great excitement that we announce the dates of the upcoming 2021 Spring/Fall Mission Teams!  This season of travel restrictions and cancellations has caused our staff to pause and evaluate what the 2021 season may have in store for us.  It is our desire to provide a safe mission experience […]

“I appeal to you [I beg you] brothers and sisters…Do NOT be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”Romans 12:1,2 Dear PBM Family,   My heart aches today as I attempt to take in the world (the chaos) around us.  The world (the enemy’s ever-efficient tool) is continually vying to transform us.  News […]

“…and so are saved.”

Dear PBM Family,   Often I write to you, our faithful supporters and Prayer warriors, about faith.  Faith has intrigued me even before I fell to my knees (acting on faith) and invited Jesus Christ into my heart.  Faith, and/or the lack thereof, seems to be that ever-raging battle within us.  We are quick to see faith, and/or (especially) […]

The hidden blessing within the difficulties and darkness is; that it ofttimes draws us closer to HIM who […]

The Promised Land!

“Be strong and courageous…you will lead people to the promised land!” That verse is inscribed upon Luke Sullivan’s memorial that, barring COVID-19, would have been mounted in stone today at Paradise Landing in Guatemala. Today, June 27th marks one year since the tragic accident that claimed Luke’s life and forever changed the life of Bruce Van Fleet and his family, as well as PBM. We mourn with Luke’s family, holding them up in Prayer as we also celebrate his life. Praying continually as well for the Van Fleet family as they journey through their healing, and calling to “…lead people to the promised land.”
